A girly shelf redo

The girls' room needed girly-ing. We made due. We started with one of those cheapish wooden shelves that you buy from big box discount stores:
 
(This particular model came with girl-heads attached.)
(No, that's a lie.)

And ended up with a creation fit for princesses:
This has been a perfect addition to their girly bedroom - I used a vintage wrapping paper for the back (where you see the pink and yellow design) and Zero VOC paint for the rest. I did have to come back later and seal the paper a bit better, but I think it will hold up well - even under the abuse of an 8 and 9 year old!
